6.9 possibly overheating
Took my truck to school this morning, about a 5 mile drive with no hills. By the time I got there the temp gauge was at the L in NORMAL, I know the stock temperature gauge is supposed to be garbage but should I be worried? The radiator also gets very hot to the touch after driving it at all, and I get white smoke when giving it much gas or going up hills.
To find the actual temperature would I need to install an aftermarket gauge or is there something simpler that would work?
