Cam is usually the first thing to go when you run diluted oil, seen it many times. On aluminum head, overhead cam engines it usually wiped out the cam bearings.
You checked the voltage but don't remember?? Did you use a volt meter?
You know, there really isn't much sense to ask for advice if you don't at least attempt to use it.
a quadrajet is a great carb, not much ever goes wrong on the inside. It is the choke mechanism 90% of the time and that stuff is easy to fix.But it won't work for crap if you aren't willing to fix it right.
