I have a 68' Ford pick-up with a 390 small block and i want to know whats the litre amount....help? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> Thanks, Heston.<o></o>
The term "small block vs big block" is more applicable to GM products. For example, the FE engine series ranged from 330 cubes to 428 cubes depending on bore and stroke combination.
What would one call a 351M and 400M? Both are based on the same block but with differing internal components but contained within the same engine architecture.
Other common equivalents:
302=5.0l
351=5.8l
360=5.9l
400=6.6l
460=7.5l
