Side view mirror part question

Side view mirror part question
I have an outside telescopic rear view mirror on my 1950 F1. I think I am missing a clamp that goes around the tube and inside the mount. There is only one and I cannot tighten the mirror. Should there be two? Any thought on where one might be found?

Yes, you should have two halves of that round clamp. You may have to make one or search out someone's used parts stash.

Yeah, on initial look I have several mirrors like that but only one set of the clam shells. I'll dig a little deeper and see if I have others. Stu
