Yeah the "Grinch" is a funny name, good thing no one called your truck the Christmass truck (thats what i would have done)
I have had many good Fords. I just had bad luck with that last one. Losing a transmission at 85thousand miles is not good.I had a 60 F-100 that was a blast to own and drive. A straight 6 that never quit and a 3 on the tree that was a little clunky to operate but good fun. Another Ford that I have fond memories of is a 78 F-350 that my former fiance ran off with last December. Boy was that SOB stout. I swear I could hook it up to my house and pull it off the foundation. I had bad luck with 1 Ford out of the dozen or so I've owned. Big deal. I'll buy onother one. I'll just steer clear of the 4R70W transmission. By the way if anybody cares I'm buying my truck back from the bank on the first. I finally got my retirement pay straightened out and am getting a little over 29 grand in backpay. I plan on buying the truck back outright and putting a new transmission in it.

That's what we like to hear. Few people these days are willing to saddle up and finish the job.
Yes it will be debt free for me. I just have to keep myself away from the Lincoln dealership. I'll be getting enough in retirement pay (4 grand a month) that I can actually retire. Isn't it a law that retired people need a new Lincoln Town Car Cartier Limited? I thought I read that somewhere.... Must remain strong and resist temptation.....

Wait until you move to Florida, then buy the white caddy/lincoln and leave one of your turn signals on all the time. You'll fit right in
