front clip swap
First off, I haven't properly expressed how much I enjoy being a part of this community. Lots of great info here.
Ok now to business... I have checked through some of the achives and I couldn't find a direct answer... I am not a huge fan of the front end of the 87-91 trucks. however, I love the style change that happened in '92. My question is do the body lines match between models? I was thinking of going to a parts yard and taking the front clip off the donor truck and just repainting mine afterwards. What wiil I have to take off the donor truck to complete the swap?

And you'll have to fab up some new bumper brackets are the 87-91 do not bolt up like the 92+ does.
I just did a front clip swap on my 1994, to a 87-91. And I had to chop off a few inchs off the frame to install the 87 bumper.
