Raptorize?
I have read posts where front ends from different years are swapped for aesthetics. Has anyone measured the front end of the Raptor to see if it would fit on an Excursion? I know its a "F-150" but the literature states that the Raptor is about 5 inches wider than the standard 1/2 ton. Does that equate into matching the width of an Ex? A little thought experiment for someone with knowledge of body modifications.

Considering a 01 to a 08 front end swap is a lot of custom work...
The Raptor front end swap would be a TON of custom work.
The body lines wouldnt be the same, hood hinges, bumper mount.
Plus I dont know if the width is even close to the same...

I would also want to know if I could swap front ends from a VW Jetta, what do you think.... (JK). Sorry, I couldn't resist. To the OP, your question just doesn't make any sense. Even if you could do the swap you would gain nothing and loose a lot.
