Newbie here with two hopefully minor issues you guys may be able to help with. The first issue is my 2006 Expedition XLT 5.4L idles at just below 500 rpm. Sometimes, with the AC on, it goes a tick lower and bobbles between 425 or so and 500 and just feels like it will stall on me. What should it idle at and how to increase the idle?
Second question is my gas pedal, but that's not really it. When I push the gas pedal, i know it pushes a linkage to increase the fuel delivery to make it accelerate. Up until 5000 miles ago or so, it was a smooth acceleration, smooth pedal, and I could feather it down ever so lightly when I accelerated from a stop. Now, I have to push the pedal down 1-2 inches prior to any response. I feel like it is a linkage issue between the pedal and the throttle linkage, but am unsure. Is there somewhere I can shoot some WD-40 and if so, where?
