Negative battery cable end?

I'm working on a 95 Explorer, and I need to know where the end of the negative battery cable should be bolted to. Right now, it's hooked to a bolt on the back of the starter. That just doesn't sound right......

Sounds right.

Should be another cable to the starter from the solenoid.

What sounds right? That the neg cable is in the wrong place? Or that it is in the right place?

Sounds like the right location IF the bolt you are talking about is a mounting bolt.
