Don't know if its been heard but ram just released that the 13 cummins will be making 850 lb-ft. So expect around 425 HP and around 850-875 lb-ft with the 6.7 for 2013 or 2014
I heard that for 2013 they will go DEF. Prescious metals are forcing the change. Since this will be a first year run with DEF I would wait a bit before I would even consider it.
atleast they are not putting the DEF tank outside the frame rail behind the front passenger wheel like the GM trucks.. I have seen a few of the new GM trucks with a big black plastic tank behind the front passenger tire..of all places, why there?, and where do you add the DEF?? under the hood? or is there a fill port somewhere on the pass. door frame?
I'm sure when Dodge starts using the SCR system in their pickups, it will work fine, since they've been using it a while on the cab/chassis models like UGA33 mentioned..I do like the Cummins since they are inline 6 engines..just not too fond of the trucks that they come with.
