tire help
I need new tires on my 1991 f250 but I am unsure what size to get.
I have been looking at 235/85-16E and 265/75-16E Coopers.
The truck does a lot of heavy hauling and sees about 75% road.
The door says 215's were factory but the speedo is right on with the 235/80's right now.
I think it had 265's on it when I got it but I can't compare those because I didn't use it for hauling then. It has a 300-6 in it with a 3.55 rear. I need tires this week because I am loosing chunks of what is left of the tread area.....

My '90 F250 had 235/85/16's on it when I got the truck, I now have 265/75/16 General AT-2, load range E on it. The tires are 2 years old, they have about 8,000 miles on them, they still look brand new, no visible tread wear or tread cracking. They are fairly quiet on the road, the work great in the snow and wet conditions and they stay balanced very well.
