6.9 IDI vs Dmax

First off.... sorry, I have diarrhea of the mouth... I don't even know I do it Transitioning into the civilian work place is going to be... umm... fun.

Anyways, 88 ford is always ripping on me to get videos of me trying to race stuff... after this d-max and I had already been going back and forth for about 5 minutes, I thought to myself "hey! grab your phone"

He had what looked like a banks badge, then some diesel shop logo's on the back. It was a pretty nice looking chevy.

The first minute or so is painful, I realized I was holding the camera wrong.... I correct myself!

oh, on a side note...

I don't know that it gave me all that much more power.... but I can feel it.. I would guess maybe 15-20hp......when I was installing my brake controller last night I realized that my carpet was kind of puffed up under the pedal. Had my wife put the pedal on the floor and I had roughly a 3/16" gap between throttle lever and stopper on pump. Modded the carpet and now have true full throttle.

I bet he would have been surprised to know it was an idi instead of a Powerstroke. Your truck runs like a champ. Thanks for the video. I always like the diesel ****! Now it is time to face off with Racin before you leave.

Why don't you take it to the track and quit putting other people's lives at risk?

Lol, first rule of riding shotgun. If the driver aint scared, theres no need for you to be!

1 hand on the wheel: Alls well
2 hands on the wheel: hold on, start worrying
Driver saying "oh ****": Oh ****

Simple as that!

i dont understand what there was to be scared of, what did you top out at 65, 80 tops, that truck is made of METAL, heavy gauge metal, not like the newer cars and trucks. if you hit a light pole, the other truck, tree, or just about anything other then a semi, your proly going to be just fine. maybe a few bumps and bruises, but really these trucks are made ford tough. when ford made tough trucks quit cryin hold on and take steady video! youll be fine!
