i dont understand what there was to be scared of, what did you top out at 65, 80 tops, that truck is made of METAL, heavy gauge metal, not like the newer cars and trucks. if you hit a light pole, the other truck, tree, or just about anything other then a semi, your proly going to be just fine. maybe a few bumps and bruises, but really these trucks are made ford tough. when ford made tough trucks quit cryin hold on and take steady video! youll be fine!
LOL, yeah hes a pansy. As far as speed, in the video with my buddy cryin.... about 90mph as I headed into the turn.
I LOVE the IDI badge idea, my poor gal got accused of being a PSD at the diesel fest party like 5 times! and as for turning 90 into the curve, SO WHAT its a dually! it aint gonna slip or turn over. but yeah i need rear tires too, i been thinking about buying 22.5 from a local semi grave yard, and adapters are cheap but having them milled to take 22inch tires is the expencive part. but i really dont wanna buy 16.5s... i really want 22s
Wow, nice vids man. That is a sweet truck. Ive taken my IDI thru some curves ALOT faster than the posted limit...And she cuts thru them like it was on rails. With the big fat sway bars, KYB performance shocks, and Im running 265/75 16s. Its actually fun to hit the twisties. Sure the steering is about has about a much feedback as a ocean liner's. But the looks on the sports cars driver's face when Im right with him in the turns...priceless. Even better when I have my Kawisaki strapped down in the bed.
