Pitman Arm Redux

Just an update, and a post for anyone who may find themselves in a similar situation. In the process of doing this engine swap on my 69 F250 CS I decided to upgrade to power steering. I bought a ford PS box (rebuilt/sealed) but with out the pitman arm. Thanks to Number Dummy and HIO I started looking for the right pitman arm (D2TA-3590-BA) and found nothing. I scoured eBay and called literally 2 dozen suppliers, salvage yards and aftermarket companies. I found plenty of arms for 73+ trucks but nothing for the 69. Finally in desperation I ordered a 73 arm from a yard in CO for $30 shipped figuring so long as the spline that mated to the shaft on the PS box was correct, I could, owning a commercial prototype and machine shop modify or fabricate what I needed. Well after a week the arm showed up. It had 73-79 F250 marked on it in paint marker but after de-greasing it and blasting the surface rust off it the numbers cast on to it clearly read D2TA-3590-BA and PWR STG F-100-250. Bolting it to the PS box on the frame looks like everything is exactly in the right place. I think the salvage yard screwed up and accidentally sent me exactly what I needed. On ward!
