ScanGauge II EOT working parttime

ScanGauge II EOT working parttime
The EOT on my SGII works fine for a few days then, in mid drive, will stick on a temp. When I notice that, I hit the bottom right button to go back to the start screen, then back to "gauges". From then on, EOT is blank. Typically, the next drive will be fine. Any ideas?

First thing would be to figure out it it's the SG or the truck. You could try re-entering the EOT codes in a different x-gauge slot, if that doesnt fix it you haven't learned much though. I think using a different device like a code scanner with live data and verify the EOT data is present and correct. Just my opinion but I would suspect the SG or it's cable more than the truck. I would think there would be a CEL and code set if there was no EOT data.

Good ideas both, and I'll try both. I just finished an unsuccessful opening day bow hunt and, as predicted, it works fine. As I recall from the first time it messed up, there were other things that it normally reads, that also weren't reading. I'll reprogram and wait and see if it screws up again.

And have to reprogram everything? I'll pass until proven necessary. That's a lot of typing on a not very good typewriter.

NO it will still have all the X-Gauge Info shouldnt lose that
you will lose the Fuel Milage stuff
Thats how mine is anyway IIRC I kinda went threw something similair and the reset fixed it

Don't care all that much about the fuel milage stuff since it pretty well sucks anyway. Is the some menu to use in the manual to rest? Been meaning to ask, what does IIRC mean?

the fuel milage stuff does work pretty good it must be entered right
this where the Harpoon Mod comes in
at each refill the truck needs to be filled to the exact same leval and then the amout of fuel it took to fill to that point needs to be entered at that screen you will see how much fuel the SGII think it used and then you will enter the actual amount fuel it took to fill to the same leval
Each time you fill SGII will get closer and closer till its right on the money
the Harpoon mod will allow it to be filled to the same spot on the filler Neck Eack time
After time if all above conditions are met it will end up right on the MONEY
I didnt know how to work it at First till Amdriven stepped me threw it since then its been pretty cool to watch

we all have a Fuel Leval sensor
what am I missing?????
