WOW!
That new converter is flippin awesome! When it hits its locks tight and now the turbo comes right in with a nice tight new tranny and runs right up to 5psi with out being hard on the pedal.

Like a whole new beast!

Cool! Glad to hear it. I got my new to me 87 up to daily driver status at least, it sat for awhile and was neglected a little on maintnance. Can't wait to get some of the kinks worked out.

so you did a whole new trans as well as the new TQ?

Yep and a tugger kit he said it would be a good idea to go through the whole thing, Good thing too the bearing inside were gone the oil transfer groove was completely wiped away on all the bearing surfaces and the sun gear was missing a shim and eating into the sun gear case, Funny thing is he found it also has been already been modified to hold extra clutches.

Converter was 750.00 and the tugger was 125.00 the rebuild was a barter for painting his house in cash about 2500.00

New clutches,seals,solenoid pack,new sun gear...The guy does top notch work known him for along time...So glad he wanted to trade work for work.

I'll have to try to get a video of it now, I'v got to put on a few things I removed so they didnt have to.
