obd 1 codes need help

obd 1 codes need help
Hey so I ran a check on my 92 f150 5.8 because my check engine light is coming on periodically. I got codes 181 and 332 I think they were. I looked them up and it was fuel rich at part throttle cylinder bank no. 1. And not detecting egr opening. Any advice? Thanks!

181 should be lean, not rich, and disregard the right/left stuff, your computer only sees it as one.
Check your connections and fuel pressure.
Check for vacuum leaks.
Do you have dual tanks?
Do you have an exhaust leak?
For the 332, check the Exhaust Valve Position Sensor connector and check the voltages. Haynes has a procedure for this.
Also, check the vacuum actuator line (I think its green) that plugs into the top, IIRC it holds a vac when off, if not take it off at the other end and see if it holds vacuum pressure.

Yes I have two tanks. I don't believe I have an exhaust leak. My header gaskets are still good. No holes in the exhaust. Its true dual. Is it possible someone took that thing off or messed with it when they put on the headers?

Its on the exhaust pipe. I have a breather hooked to the bottom of the egr so the headers could be there. I found one of the problems, my vacuum lines hooked into the top by the coil were switched, I corrected them and heard the breather kick in.

What do you mean when you say breather? Is it open to the air? If so, that's your lean code. If not, Check fuel pressure, and if that's good, clear the code and give it some driving to make sure it wasn't a one time thing. If the EGR is open to free air, you will need to block it off or (ideally) reconnect it. And true duals would have 2 exhaust pipes, so saying the O2 is on the exhaust pipe is not particularly descriptive, however clarification is unnecessary at this point.
