I took the emission crap off my truck and now it wont run very long before it fouls the plugs, It may be a CA model. It is a 92 F-250 351. Does anyone have any suggestions?? PLEASE HELP
The check engine light does not need to be on for codes to be stored. Some are considered to not be important enough and only get stored in Constant memory.
Some systems, like vacuum and fuel pressure, are not directly monitored and manifest themselves with codes/problems from other systems. For example a vacuum leak could casue a lean condition because its letting in unmetered air, but if its on the FPR it would cause excessive fuel to flow...
When was the last o2 sensor replacement? Tuneup? Fuel Pressure test?
also the fuel press. is around 42 psi.
If thats running pressure then theres your problem. All the v8's run at about 32psi at idle. Remove the vacuum line from the pressure regulator and it should jump to 40'ish. There should be no fuel present in the vacuum line or regulator port. Replace the regulator if you see any. There shoud be about 24mmHg vacuum on the vacuum line. Replace the vacuun line and the pressure should return to normal. Turn the truck off and pressure should hold within 5psi for at least 30 seconds.
Also, how did you handle the air pump tubes? These could be letting air in causing the o2 sensor to read lean when its really isn't but the computer whouldn't know that and richen the mixture anyways.
All the tubes are plugged off. But at this time we do suspect the o2 sensor is set up for a CA truck cause it is all the way at the back of the cab and we have another 92 351 and its o2 sensor is up front by the manifold and on the rich truck there is a plug for the o2 sensor up by the manifold but there is no o2 sensor there. We think we can put a o2 sensor up front and change the computer and solve our problem. What do you think?

I've never heard of a CA only computer. Maybe its an early version of ODB2.
Do you know the program code?
I'd wait a day or two to see if someone CA knowledgable chimes in. Otherwise I would say pop in a new o2 sensor. Is that o2 bung plugged or something?
ODB@ needs 3 o2 sensors I beleive. Right & left manifold and 1 after cat.
There is no bung there just a wire for one. I am going to pull the codes today like you told me how and I will go from there. Thanks for your help....
