overheating
'94 f150, strt. 6. Was cruising along at 70 and truck overheats. Pull over and leave the truck overnight after refilling radiator. Next day went back truck starts right up, made it about 10 miles and overheats again. fan is turning? I'm guessing thermostat or water pump. Maybe remove thermostat and see if it still overheats on the 15 mile drive home?

Don't know history, just got it a month ago. Put it on trailer this afternoon and brought it home. ran like crap when I was loading it on the trailer, hope I didn't do any damage. Going to change t'stat tomorrow and idle it(I hope) for 30-45 min. or until it starts to overheat. Hopefully it will idle fine and the t'stat will fix it.
