Thanks guys! I got some denatured alcohol yeaterday at the hardware store, its really more of a solvent and is flamable, so its not sold in the grocery or drug stores.
Gonna clean the outside of my windsheild with it and the 0000 steel wool then wipe with a clean micro-fiber towel and then use some glass plus for the final cleanup...
Let us know how it turns out. Maybe you could post a few before and after shots too.

DO NOT USE THE STEEL WOOL & DENATURED ALCOHOL!!!!!! the steel wool can produce enough static charge on the glass to produce an ignition source.......
This is what I would do......
Wash with a sponge the window using the denatured alcohol with a drop of dish soap. if you have residue, use only dish soap & the steel wool pads....it will be spotless!
