Looking for thread with pictures of guy who did HIS OWN INSTALL and HIS OWN WELD on spd y pipe on ford f 250 or excursion with 5.4 engine .He also Installed stainless steel headers ! I CANT FIND IT FOR THE LIFE OF ME. Also is there a picture of stock 5.4 exhaust . I thought I saw that picture also either here or on spd performance site or jba performance exhaust co. CANT FIND THAT EITHER . PLEASE HELP. THANKS A LOT ! !
This is from 1975StroppeBaja's Super Duty Tech articles page on his 2004 F-250 website. He's got some very helpful stuff on there.
THATS IT THANKS A BUNCH ! By the way what are the feed backs on y pipe installed into stock exhaust, was wondering ! thats a inexpensive mod that might pay off dont really NEED stainless steel headers. Am set up for muffler shop on monday to do exhaust gasket and studs so while its a part thought y pipe would help a little. What you think
That guy did a very good write-up. That stainless header looks nice. One think I
was thinking about was the coating that helps keep heat in the pipe from Jet-Hot Jet-Hot Ceramic Coatings
Just a thought.

Just a thought. Was talking to guy from jba perf. co. he said coating not needed unless racing type temps ( dustin ) are reached . I like the look and perf. end but dont think I want to spend the bucks. If you want call john auto anything s.s. headers shipped $ 532.00 jba product. Mike P
