Door locks

How do get the origional door locks off? And has anyone ever bought one from Macs? Are they a good replacement?

Door locks

the door locks are held in with a set screw, which is accessible on the latch side of the door, there is a 1/4" hole, located under the weatherstripping, the set screw is a slotted screw ( pretty small slot on it), and will probably need a liberal coating of penitrating oil, to break it loose. I have received a set of lock cylinders from mac's part # 51A-7051984 and they seem to be made well, and fit nice

Door locks

Darn, I thought that was it, and was hoping it wasn't. From looking in that hole it looks as though someone already tried... without penetrating oil. I think I'm going to take a drill and DESTROY!!!

On second thought, are there any special brackets or anything that I would need to add a lock to the drivers side?
