i just stopped to look at a 79 f150 custom im thinking about getting to replace my 86. my question is how hard would it be to swap the motor out of the 79 since it is huge, (not sure what size but size wise its bigger than my 302) and would the 302 bolt to the tranny thats in the 79.

my 86 is fuel injected with an aod tranny, 2wd. the 79 is 4 wheel drive carberated of course, and again not sure what the tranny is in the truck or the motor size.
