injector ?
My truck overheated due headgasket failure. he said i may need injectors because they overheat and orings will fail. Is there anyway to test these injectors out of the truck or replace the orings?

Sorry but you're being "sold" a bill of goods here. If you need injector o-rings you can buy a kit to replace ALL the o-rings (not just the installation rings) from Riff Raff cheap. I replaced headgaskets 5 times on the same set of injectors.

If the oil filter standpipe melted then the oil temps were at least 350*. If the standpipe melted and ran through the motor then the MOTOR is junkyard material. Sounds like you have more problems than just headgaskets to me.
