See post 14 for the Ford part number for the crossmember and its applications.
F250 is NOT the same, the section modulus (depth of the frame rails) is different.
thats a "frame saver?" looks like a $1.00 worth of steel scrap? idk.
at any rate I wouldn't "save" any brackets, they are easy to swap.
the brackets in your pictures are the "outrigger" mounts. the rest of the trucks have 2 cab mounts on a crossmember on the inside of the frame.
The mounts shown are the front cab mounts, like EVERY front cab mount they are "outriggers". The same principle applies fixing the rear cab mount crossmember.
When I fixed those mounts, "new" ones were not available and neither were good used ones.
im workin on an 83 f100 with the the rear cab mount crossmember rotted out...bad. after lookin at it and tryin to figger out a way to rebuild the rear crossmember, i took a look at the cross member that is one back form it. its pretty solid and i decided, after tackin it in place, i can make and weld a plate onto it for the cab mounts to get the angle( that crossmember is on a bit of an angle of the frame) for the cab mounts right and fab up a new crossmember for the one further back easier than tryin to fix the one that goes there, if this is makes sense or helps. i'll add pics when i get done.
idk, sounds like reinventing the wheel to me. its not like these trucks are that rare yet. finding rust free parts is usually a junk yard trip or a $50 money order to a forum member away.
i do have a bone yard nearby and that thought did cross my mind and i could go get a crossmemebr there( they got a few trucks ill be getting other parts from). however, loading up all the necessary tools to remove the crossmember on a fully assembled truck would require more time and labor than doin what im doin. its actually been very simple so far.

That is easy for you to say. Up here things rot out in 5-10 years. I can't even tell you the last time I saw a dentside on the road up here, at least 6 months ago, if not more. Not too many left up here , and even less for parts. So you are left fixing what you got

when I was driving my dent through Gilbert..I saw you but you did not see me..
