replacing "arm style"mounts with solid mounts.
I was wondering if anyone has replaced the arm style rear cab mounts with solid type, like those in the front of the cab. Im adding IFS, and the rear arm design seems out of date. If anyone has suggestions, or stories, Id love to hear them.
Thanks!
One of the parts suppliers catalogs (tired of giving them free advertisements) shows an adjustable rear cab mount that ends up looking like it's a solid mount.
The original mounts work ok but if you want to be able to adjust the rear of the cab, the original style mounts prevent you from doing this.
I think I may end up using some sort of adjustable mount on the rear of my cab.

I was too cheap to pay $$ for something that wouldn't be seen, and the fit wasn't even close using the original style. The cab just moved all over the place, even with new bushings throughout.
I'll take some pics tonight if I remember.

Mike, some pics would be great. As far as flex goes, we are crossmembering the hell out of her right now, and boxing the frame rails all the way back. Ill post some pics of the job weve done. I think we might figure out some new rear mounts.
