The '53 has been at the shop for a couple of weeks. They've done some work and promised she would be up on the rack next for the disc brake conversion and whatnot.
Regardless, as the days shorten and the leaves fall, I am yearning for my baby so she and I can enjoy together the mild autumns we have before the rain comes.

Hi Joe I just read your build thread and your story is very touching, I think your Dad would be proud of you, and of what your doing to bring the truck back to life. It sounds as if you guys will be on the road befor you know it, so hang on, get it insured if you havent already, and have fun when it done. Dont forget to take some more pics as you go, as you already know we all love pics. And congatulations on renewing your vows, thats cool!
I stopped by to check on the progress and it's still sitting in the lot. They finished the other car they said was before mine, but now a different car is on the rack.
