No Park
I have a 99 250 SD 5.4L with 4R100 Trans. I just bought truck so I don't know much about the history. I can't get it to go into park. I know the linkage and cable are good and not the problem. I can reach through the floor by the transfer case shifter and move the shift arm without the cable connected and still wont go into park. I can start it in N and shift through all the gears but wont go into park. Looks like the transmission range sensor has been replaced recently. Any help would be great. Was also told that trans was rebuilt a little while ago and it shifts fine and otherwise works good just can't get it into park. Thanks
