Key-on wire
Im just trying to locate a wire so i can hook up a relay to power my CB radio im going to install. What i need to find is the best place a wire that only gets power when the key is on is located, and what color it is. Thanks!

For the key on power I wired into my radio harness because I installed the CB in the same hole as the radio with a double ISO install kit. For the constant power on I tapped the cigarette lighter socket. The socket pulls out easily. Some guys run the constant 12v straight to the battery, I did not feel like snaking more wires. The antenna and CB install was enough of a PITA at the time.
My wiring adaptor diagram for the head unit says Red is the 12v switched power and black is chassis ground.

I noticed there was a white/blue wire taped off under the dash near where the factory trailer brake controller harness is. I havent tested it yet, but does anyone know if thats key-on only?
