need to replace the fitting on the block of my 79 400. its the fitting coming off the block going to the heater core hose,( I thinks its actually the return hose.) the stock fitting is rusted away and need to find a solution
1) Straight fitting, use with 5/8" heater hose, threads into waterpump or engine block (8M-18599) / Same used from 1949 into the 1990's on myriad FoMoCo vehicles, should be available at any autoparts store.
2) Straight fitting w/a 90 degree nipple, threads into engine (D3OZ-18599-A) / AFAIK: Ford dealer part only. 351C/400: 1973/74 Passenger Cars / 351M/400: 1975/79 Passenger Cars, 1977/79 F100/350, 1978/79 Bronco.
