This will probably get deleted and is off topic but just so you know. Keith started that site when he got sideways with Ken here. Had they not had personal problems with each other, all that information would now be part of FTE instead of being the opposing site.
I am aware of how it started & yes the info would be here but this is where we are today & both sites offer information plus the ability to interact with others for free. There is a site for doing 385 series heads. It requires a 1 time fee to view the material. That I would not share. If I have to pay for it so do "you" whoever "you" might be. As you state, the problem, if it still exists, is between the 2 of them not any of the members on either. No need to engage in a fight that does not concern one especially when with exception of the 2 involved I would bet most others do not have the full story either way.
One more question to get this back on track here. spindles from a f250 will work on my f100? and if I get them cause they work does the rotors, proportioning valve and master cyclinder all have to be from a f250?

According to your "About Me" profile, you have a 1972 F100. Your truck has 5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle
F250 rotors will not fit an F100. F250's have 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle. The calipers are different, caliper mounting brackets are different, the dust shields and etc are different.
And, some F250's have single piston caliper disc brakes, some have dual piston caliper disc brakes, so the parts are different between these F250's.
5 lug wheels on a 5.50" bolt circle: 1973/79 F100 2WD, 1975/79 F150 2WD. Find one of these and swap the parts. Make sure the F100 has power disc brakes.
1973/79 F100 2WD: Manual disc brakes were standard equipment, power disc brakes were optionaL
Thanks NumberDummy.... The reason I asked is because one of the articles I read on how to do the swap said spindles from 73-78 ford f100/150/250 but I thought it was weird that a 250 was included

F250 2WD's with single piston caliper disc brakes use the same spindles as F100/150's, but nothing else is the same, except the proportioning valve if the F100/150 & F250 (w/single piston calipers) is a 1975/79.
Do not buy the parts piece-meal, get everything from one truck and record what it is. If a part fails, when you go to the autoparts store, you will know what to ask for.
I HATE swaps! People swap parts, do not record what they came from, then either they, or subsequent owners are clueless. They waltz into the parts dept, lay a pile of greasy parts on the counter and say "What are these from?"
Never said that, post from there many times with a problem. Just tring to help someone out did not know it was against house rules.
70-360fe & elgemcdlf, When you have been coming in here nearly everyday for 15 years offering help on a subject that you have first hand knowledge of, trying to help others wanting the same thing, have to rub elbows with guys saying go get this & that, or here is a kit for (how much money) then see the same old repete questions when the guy doesn't buy a donor to harvest from, plus every day someone is sending folk to another site I say come on.
I am registered on many sites & don't visit them much. I go back to about the first 10 members of the Slick60s site, before this site had 200 members before Keith & Ken. I am not dising Keiths site, he has done a good job with it.
It just rubs me to work at BoJangles and have folk come in telling others McDonalds biscuits are better.

John
You seem to have all the answers john so from now on I will just keep my mouth shut and let you handle everything. Sorry your feelings got hurt.
I think Master power sells a complete "new" kit with the master cylinder all the way down to the discs, calipers, king pins and all. That is if you don't want to go the cheap rout?

John
John you have that everywhere. I know I am confident I have posted questions that have been addressed somewhere before as well. As to biscuits it is an opinion & nothing more or less. There is always more than 1 way to skin a cat so just because I believe the best way is with a donor vehicle doesn't mean it can not be done a different way as well. Can you even begin to imagine how many "I know better than you" folks I have heard from concerning the mods I have made to my truck? Yet she rolls on mile after mile with no problems whatsoever. I think you & I are just destined to bang heads every few months or so Nothing personal, just seems like it is the way it is.
When "we" offer information "we" offer what we know. When the question is on a subject we have no information on we tend to shy away or say "no". To the best of my knowledge I am the 2nd documented IRS swap into a bump. Imagine the nay sayers simply because they have never done it.

I just ran across that link and I was wondering if anyone here has purchased that and how it worked out for them. In looking at the pic on there website I dont see spindles does anyone know if it comes with them. Im assuming it does since it say complete kit.
