Straying from the KISS method, you could make your 'switch' automatic with a timer relay and open that circuit for a fixed amount of time when key turns on...
i have heard and sort of read about the time delay relays....though about doing the 40 second delay relay.....but i like the switch better.....
I checked out the air dog install manual and it shows that you bypass the factory pump during the install. So with this switch installed, you won't have fuel pressure while you're holding the switch, right?

there are 2 ways to get the key on power to the air dog relay....they both use the same wire though you just have to hook it i up differently....the key on power wire originally comes with a mini fuse that you can stick in your fuse box but i didnt feel like trying to figure out which one to pull and replace with the mini fuse....the air dog has a wire attached to a mini fuse....or you cut the mini fuse off and wire it to the hot wire going to your stock fuel pump for the key on power......so if i interrupt the circuit from the main pump on the way to the relay it will be after the main pump for which ill still have pressure.....
Do you guys have a specific delay-relay in mind? I like the idea of the delay.
for me it came down to ease of what ill be able to understand and find.....electrical has always been my weak spot....i mean i can run wires but when you start braking down amp and volts and converting all this ohm stuff im totally lost....the switch seemed easy enough and i like the manual override better......
alright so the switch works perfectly....kudos to you fellas giving me a starting point....turns out there was still a lack of power and for about a year or so i have been kinda battling an intermitent battery problem.....2 batteries replaced under warranty and the truck is back to normal....i do however still like the manual override switch for the airdog on cold starts....every little bit helps....
Sounds more like a battery issue to me. No reason that fuel pump should cause this problem. How old are batts? Terminals clean? What starter are you using and how old is it?

Good advice here, but I prefer the KISS method.
dont know how i missed this post but just now saw it being quoted! you hit the nail on the head its just too bad i wasnt paying attention........reps coming your way....
Glad you got it figured out. If you still want to install a switch, you need a normally closed/ momentary open switch, which is like the ones you posted. Based on your wiring diagram it looks like the stock fuel pump wire is what triggers your Airdog relay. so I say, based on what I see, you can put you switch inline with the wire of the stock pump where it goes to the relay. This will keep that wire from energizing your relay which will keep the Airdog from getting power from the relay. I could be and probably am full of crap but from what see here it should work fine. You definitely don't need a three way switch.
