new project truck!
Just picked up a big block 88 F-350 crew cab 4x4, i think it has a c6 in it but im not sure, did they put the aod in those trucks, i know its not a e4od.. the body is in great shape for a ohio truck, no rust anywhere, it wont start, changed coil( pervious owner thoght thats what it was and gave me one) no help.. got fuel just no spark, ill keep messin with it, i have all diesels and now i just need to learn a little more about gassers. truck was so nice i coulnt pass it up for 1200 bucks.. any ideas

The AOD was only behind the 302 in the F150's. If it doesn't have OD than it's a C6. Only the C6 and the E4OD were offered in the F250's/350's other than manuals.
As for the no spark, give it a full tune-up, pull the codes, and pop the distributor cap off and see if it turns while someone cranks it.

thanks for the help, gonna replace cap and rotor tomorrow, and i was pretty sure it was a c6 trans, but im so used to powerstrokes im really out of date on older gas jobs, i will be putting me dt360 in as soon as i get it built and the c6 will be a great trans to put behind the mechinical motor, again thanks for all the help
