Just got done timing the truck and I'm still idling a little high. Checked the TPS and its reading slightly high at idle; 1.2v. Is it possible someone may have messed with the idle set screw? Resistance at closed is slightly low too, 2.89k, but pretty much spot on at full open, between 340-350.
i also would like to hear answer to this , i have 86 manual trans that is at 1000 rpm constant, is that to high , my other cars ARE ABOUT 600 to 800 max. was wondering if i should back off on idle screw too
