Slightly high idle

Just got done timing the truck and I'm still idling a little high. Checked the TPS and its reading slightly high at idle; 1.2v. Is it possible someone may have messed with the idle set screw? Resistance at closed is slightly low too, 2.89k, but pretty much spot on at full open, between 340-350.

My 1986 with manual transmission and DS2 conversion idles happily @ ~650 RPMs.

Does your truck still have the original computer controlled carburetor and ignition?

There should be a decal under the hood by the radiator support which has the factory recommended specifications.

Sorry, I just noticed that the OP has a 1989. mcarb80682, you might want to make your own thread so as to avoid confusion.
