new motor
I just had a new long block put in my 03 fx4. I thought it had a blowed head dumping water in my block BUT come to find out it was a cracked intake. I would have never guessed it had a plastic intake. It sit up for 6 months with water in the block. It was locked up from the rust. A 300 buck plastic intake costed me around 5k after all the new stuff and installing fees. I love FORDS but the guy that came up with a plastic intake should be shot. LOL Here is a pic. of the old girl.
