Hello all,

I have noticed quite a few times, that the people I approve for this chapter never come back and post. Not even to reply to my thread welcoming them to the chapter. So, I am going to follow the Nevada chapter leader's advice, and make a rule that from this day forward, in order to be approved for this chapter, one must have a minimum of 25 posts. That way, I will know they are at least a little bit interested in hanging around and enjoying our company, not too mention they will be instantly able to post to the for sale/want ads section.

I have also just gone thru the chapter member list this morning, and weeded out anyone who has not posted in over a year, or those who have only less than 25 posts in 2 or 3 years time. Obviously, if someone has not visited in over a year it is a safe bet they are not coming back (barring any major problems like being in the hospital of course) or if someone has been a member for 6 years and still has under 25 posts they are not too interested in this site. So we currently have 159 members which is down from the 187 we did have. That includes the two people I approved recently.

According to FTE guidelines only people living in the state of that chapter, can join that chapter. So I have removed those people who live in other states. They can still post here, visit here etc, just cannot be a member. I am a member of both NorCal and SoCal chapters of this state, since I grew up in SoCal, and currently live right in the middle of the state. However, I post quite often in the Nevada chapter, but am not a member for the above stated reason.
