Oh a magnetic base, well I'd keep that for sure. Most of my hauling is spur of the moment so even a removable mount like that would be a problem. But it does look cool and if it works for you, awesome.
I see you are a gun fan too. I am Past President..Palm Beach Gun Collectors..Like Parkers..LC Smith..and English doubles..
Too rich for my blood. I do have a $1300 springfield 1911 but my next most expensive is a used Smith 629 worth maybe $700. I have a little bit of everything; AR's, AK's, single and double action wheel guns, "tacticool" stuff and hunting guns. Nothing really collectible though, all my stuff gets used hard and scratched up.
I just moved so I have to get a Colorado permit but my go-to's for most things are glocks. Not stylish but the dang things sure do work. And then my ruger .357's, .45lc blackhawk and smith .44 mag for the woods.
About the closest thing to collectable I've ever had was my S&W 19-3 4" bbl. My dad carried one as a cop back in the day so I gave it to him when I scored a killler deal on a GP100.
