i need help!!

i have a 1982 f150. my ac only blows out of the defrost vents and wont blow out of the frount vents. what do i need to do?

Welcome to FTE!

Check a vacuum line underneath the dash, going to the tree under the hood. It will be very small, and most likely have a hole in it.

ive took the dash apart i dont see any hoses. do you know what the hose hooks to?

does it hook up to the 3 way thing?

Yes, probably the 3-way thing on the firewall's engine side. The hose could be approx. the size of a pencil lead and made of hard plastic, these get brittle and break with age. This is what feeds the HVAC controls in the cab, the default position of the vents is DEFROST.
