Help!! Stranded

Truck started loosing power I pulled over smoke underhood degas cap blew off.
Code is 0197. Eot. Pulled dip stick n bottom of stick is burnt. Add water still no start. I'm stuck in ozona Texas I don't believe they have a ford shop here help what's next?

That code is for oil temp low. Is there any oil on the stick or just burnt goo? Not a 6.0 guy here, buy my guess is head gasket. I say this because of the fact that it blew the cap off and that your dip stick is burnt. I probably wouldn't keep trying to start it either until you're sure its not the HG cause you could leak coolant into the cylinder and hydrolock the thing.

Jus burnt goo at first water would not go in motor it ju boiled

It sounds like there is nothing you can do along the side of the road to get that puppy going again. Trying further would probably cause more engine damage.

Get it towed to a diesel shop and hope they don't rape you on the bill.
