Yeah it will be the same "custom" one I have - they are just different from the off the shelf tunes. It probably won't feel that much better than the one you have, but it will be better and safer for the engine and transmission
I've heard Matt referred to often. Where do I contact him? Also, I assume this is a plug it into the OBDII port and upload it? Switch tunes by plugging it in and reprogramming?
His full name is Matt Robinson. He will get back to you in a day or two. You paypal him money, he emails you the tunes, which are VIN locked to your vehicle (so you can't post them here to share with everyone). The SCT plugs into the OBD port, you run through some steps to change the program (it has good directions) and then you unplug it. I bought an SCT x3, which only holds 3 tunes and does not come with any pre-canned tunes. The mustang guys are selling these all the time on ebay. Make sure it will work with Fords and that it is not VIN locked. Or buy it from one of the many truck websites for full price and then you don't have to deal with the ebay uncertainty.

Thanks. Was just looking at the iTSX model that's "wireless". Looks like it plugs into the OBDII port and is Bluetoothed to the iPhone or iPad. Not sure if Matt uses it or how well it works, but it sounds like a good idea.

Also available on Amazon....& fur quick buy (more $) at AutoZone.
So what was your "test"? Time to switch over to an SCT tuner and Matt's tunes. Good news is you will love them, esp the SRL++ for studs. The bill is going to hurt though - I still wince a bit every time I come across it in my truck folder.
Called and ordered today. The SRL++ no longer exists. The SRL extreme is "soon to come", and they warned that it truly will be "extreme". They say I'll be plenty happy with the SRL +. I figure I will be happy too.
