I was thinking about getting a new head unit. If the amp in the new deck is putting out like 20 watts RMS and 50 peak would it mess up my speakers?
I might just get new speakers too but idk how hard its gonna be to take the whole door panel off.. Anyone ever do this?
any feedback would be very appreciated

What year is your truck ? What does it have for a stereo in it now ?
My Pioneer puts out 50 watts per channel and I'm running the stock speakers and so far it's handling the power just fine. If I were you, I'd just hook it up to the stock speakers and see if it does what you want, you could always change the speakers pretty easily later if you don't like the stock ones.
You might check the factory speakers Ohm's compared to the new head units output. Some factory speakers are odd ball 6 ohms, 8 ohms speakers which strains the **** out of your Head Units 4 ohms output.
buying a new Head unit from any of the major brands is easy. Just look at their websites and decide what features you need and go buy it!! LOL
I would def replace stock front speakers with a component set, woofer and tweeter separate. Ditch the rear cab door speaker with a good set of coaxials, consider running them off a dedicated amps and then buy a supercab subwoofer enclosure!! Amp that on its own as well(make sure head unit has three sets of RCA outs
you can def buy a double DIN DVD/NAV unit, it will fit!
Your factory speakers will work okay. You have 5x7 four ohm speakers if they are like the ones in my 04 F250. Your panels are easy to pull. Find the one or 2 screws pull them & then just lift the panel straight up. It will slide right off.
