Towing Limits
I am having a little trouble understanding my tow and haul limits. I have a 2012 F350 4x4 Crew Cab, 6 3/4 bed and 3:55 gears with the off road package. I need to know how much weight I can put in the bed and how heavy of a trailer I can tow using the hitch not a fifth wheel.

Easy enough. Manual should indicate that info...but in order to interpret the info you need to start with a trip to the scales.
catscales.com and plug in your zip to find the closest one. Be sure to have a full tank of fuel and whatever you normally carry.
then take your door cert which gives you the GVWR minus what the scale indicates and whatever is left is your payload. What you can put in the bed of the truck.
