I have a 1990 f150 and the dome light connectors the back plastic connectors that are for the dome light are broken. The plastic is all cracked and coming apart. I have been to the junkyard but all of them are the same as mine. Does anyone know where I can get them or if anyone has any that I could buy?
send me your email or your cell and ill send them too you when i get home from school. idk how to post them on here without coppying and pasting therm but i have to start a thread to do that.
alright check your inbox. I sent you my email also I am replacing my driverscab corner and in it there is a connector with 4 wires coming in and out. I can see one green and a pink one the others I cannot tell what color they are. Do you know what the do? they seem to go up the back of the cab. If you want I can send you pics of it.
Im not sure what they do i know a couple wires run under the plastic floor piece to the kick panel then behind the seat to the other plastic piece then to the other kick panel but no idk what there for. Sending pics now
But the dome light used to work until these plastic connectors broke. There are two screws that go into these two wires that are mounted on the cab. It also seems to affect the 3rd brake light. I have looked and looked but cant find them anywhere new or used. Do you want me to send you pics so you know what I am talking about?\
Alright ill email them to you now. But the dome light in the add is the same on mine. It says ford on it and it is to nice to be after market. Everything seems to line up on it for the mounting points on it.
Hey i just looked at an 88 f150 today for the motor but buying the whole truck it has that same dome light that you needed. I have never seen 1 like that before until now
