hesitating
i have a escape with a 6 cylinder and at higher speeds around 45-55 the engine hesitates and has a slight bucking feeling..i checked the codes when the CEL came on and it said misfire in cylinder 3. What could this be? a bad coil pack?

I just replaced the #3 coil pack myself, not bad after 245k miles.
Linked at the bottom of this post is a great write up on it (I asked the mods to sticky it but I don't think that'll happen) but I skipped a few of the steps to make it a little quicker. All in all it takes longer to change the plugs than it does to remove the intake mani.
I ordered mine from AutoZone for $85 each and rightnow if you do an online order they are giving a $15 card for every $100 purchased. I could not find any with more than a 2yr warranty though.
Depending on how many miles you may replace all 3 but definately replace your plugs if you're close to 100k.
