I did and what he gave me was a carfax, at least the carfax was clean but they dont list any kind of warranty stuff on there. But hopefully i can get one from the link that texas posted. All i was wanting to know is what if any warranty work had been done on it so i had some idea of how to plan for future repairs, like if it had a EGR cooler replaced and if they replaced the oil cooler at the same time, that kind of thing.

Here's another tidbit of info on the Oasis reports.

When the dealer ran mine it only showed page 1 of 1 and nothing on it. Then we looked at the bottom right of the same page and it say "Click Here For Full Warranty History".*
Once we clicked on that, I found out that it had an oil cooler, EGR cooler, turbo, intercooler and new heads and gasket between 80k-90k on the odometer. Just make sure they check the full history.
That was in my case. I don't know about others. The first time showed nothing then all of the sudden, I got the whole history on the truck.

Step 1 is talk to the service advisor or the service department manager while vehicle is there for service or you're picking up parts.

Step 2 If that doesn't work hit up the salesman that helped you. Their job is to sell cars, if you're pissed he is losing a customer.

Step 3 if that doesn't work use the salesman to talk to the head of customer service.

All of that can be accomplished on the same visit. If you have a relationship with the dealer things will get done.

The first time i asked the salesman and he gave me the carfax, then i asked the service advisor when i had my truck in for the transmission service i had them do and all he gave me was the service order paperwork. Perhaps i have not been persistent enough. I will talk with the service manager next. I honestly didnt think it would be this difficult to get one.Thanks for the advice.

It can be difficult. It certainly doesn't seem like a Ford policy in regards to not giving out that info and more internally with each Dealer.

I am at a loss, the local dealership where I bought my truck closed in '08. I have had to go to a dealership about 40 miles away for all of my service since. I have not been able to get a full Oasis report from the new dealership. I would like to have my full service history included in one report. If a dealership will not provide this info, is it available from another source?

Can someone please tell, exactly what info is contained in an Oasis report? I would like to compare the work performed on my truck with the tech bulletins issued by Ford. Is it likely this info is included?

The dealership that sold us the truck, and performed the first few rounds of service has closed. The dealership we've had to start using claims they are limited in the records they can provide.

Yeah, I think it is internal to the dealership... Definitely no ford regulations on giving them out. I bought a used truck last weekend from an independent (non ford) dealer in a city five hours away... Yesterday I stopped by the dealer local to me and asked the guy at the service desk how much it cost for an oasis. He said it was free and asked for my vin. I just pulled out my phone which had a picture of the door panel sticker on it, showed it to him, and walked out with my oasis two minutes later. Valuable, happy information on it, too!
