Howdy, I'm replacing and upgrading a couple things in my '65 f-100.
The 352 has an Edelbrock intake, Holley 600... stock cam, one wire 120 amp alternator..
Its not running great, keeps fouling plugs and at idle develops an intermittent lope / miss ...
It also has a Pertronix D7133701 Flame-Thrower Vacuum Advance Electronic Distributor and Igniter III coil. I'm running accel superstock 7mm plug wires,
Fuel-system wise, I think we're ok, was wondering if these wires are up to the task?
More likely you have a fuel, Carb, problem or oil problem. Valve guides or rings. Have you taken a compression check and vacum reading while idling and at a steady 1500 rpm?
