What is the difference between these 2 chips?

Besides cost of course? How is one custom when it already tells you whats on it just like the other one. This is confusing.

One is a custom tuned chip for your mods, one is a generic tuned chip for your PCM code.
With your truck the cheaper one would be just fine.
Make sure you install gauges before any power adders.
EGT, Boost and Trans temp min.

I'd guess the regular TS chip would be just as good. It doesn't say who's custom tuning the advanced option has, but it doesn't look too custom. Most of the custom tuners want more information like other mods, the specific pcm code, etc.

Thanks for the help. so if i go airbox and straight pipe or aftermarket exhaust the generic one should be fine? thats all im doing and all I will do.

Just installed the TS chip and wow. I have never felt that kind of performance change for so little money Thanks for posting the thouroughbred diesel website. 200 bucks what a great price. When she hits 2000 rpms hold on to your seat. WOW.
