Head gaskets again?

well i have been afraid to ask this because of the answer i may get, but....here goes.

approx one year ago at 104,000 miles we did studs, head gaskets, 8 injectors and new oil cooler, and egr delete. at that time i got rid of the edge and got an sct with IDP tunes now have 133,000 on it.

most recently did FICM repair with atlas 40. i change oil and fuel filters every 5000 miles faithfully.

the other day i noticed white run marks on my degas bottle. the level is good and everything else seems to be good. deltas are good never more than 8 degrees, cold soak within 1 to 1.5 degress diff on startup.

sorry so long winded but just trying to give a good history. but do you all think its another head gasket problem or is there something else i should be looking at?

Did you replace the cap when you did all the work, or is it the original? New cap, and splice a pressure gauge into the degas line to check pressure in the bottle.

What type of head gaskets? From what I understand from other users in this forum.... The black onxy head gaskets have a high rate of failure. Use the Ford ones. Also how did you delete the EGR.... is the cooler gone or just plugged. There are some test strips you can buy that check for fuel contamination of the coolant.... if you get a positive result it normally from a EGR cooler (deleted I know but if cooler is still there can still leak) amd head gasket.

Well it it isn't there... it can't leak. So I would look into getting a test strip. It's a relatively easy to tell. You can also smell the coolant if there is a strong fuel smell in the coolant bottle... but the test strip is much better test for small leaks.
