Trans.Question
Hello All,
I just bought a Ford 2006 F250 diesel which has the 6.0 in her with 86,000 mile. I know the 6.0 may have problems with EGR from what I read, but thats for a other day. I have no manual with the truck, so I,am trying to find out what transmission is in it?

Thanks Mark, one more quick question, I will be towing a fifth wheel travel trailer weighing around 8000 pounds,should I tow it will the overdrive on or push the tow button. Its all new to me!

Try it both ways. Pick the one you like better.
The transmission was designed to work fine in either mode. You will probably get better mileage with the TOW/HAUL not turned on, but better performance, especially downhill, with the TOW/HAUL turned on.
