ranger electrical issues stumpted
on my 97 ranger the speedo and odometer dont work. already replaced the vss and they still dont work. worked when i bought the truck 2 months ago. and the wipers worked when i got the truck now they dont. checked all fuses, checked for power at the motor and getting nothing. and the fuel gauge quit working a week ago.

Did all of these problems begin after some event????
If not, then you may have more than one problem.
Do you have a CEL lit, if so, have the computer scanned for trouble codes & post All code Numbers found, as they can provide good trouble shooting clues. Most autoparts stores will scan for codes at no cost, if the CEL is lit.
